The Fester is the dimension that the Lepers reside in. It is one of the eight dimensions mentioned in the Venter Mythos and the most common of all eight dimensions, save the human dimension.

The Fester supposedly has Hell-like qualities. It is inhabited by creatures known as Lepers, which generally resemble hellish versions of flora, fauna, and other objects in the human dimension. The most powerful of all the known Leper is The Umbilical, which also acts as the ceiling for the Fester. There seems to also be a pocket dimension below the ground of The Fester, filled with creatures as powerful as The Umbilical, known as Subfester.
